HEY DUDE..

'Herbivorous ' animals eat plants and are totally vegetarian while ' Carnivorous' animals eat only animals ( not even insects ) and are specifically non - vegetarians. A mixture of both the kinds , i.e. , 'Omnivorous' animals eat both plants and animals and are not specific about any having only one kind ( i.e. either only plants or only animals) .

Therefore,in a habitat consisting of grass , cows and lions, the food chain can be defined as..

GRASS ← COW ← LION

meaning grass is eaten up by cows and cows in turn get eaten up by a lion in such an ecosystem.

In this case, both the cow as well as the lion are the consumers where the cow is a herbivorous consumer whereas the lion is a carnivorous type consumer. In this case, there is no omnivorous type coz none of the organisms mentioned have any interest in eating both veg and non - veg.

THANK YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAY AHEAD;-)
