Consider a single phase transformer circuit with the following details: Primary circuit:
input voltage V(t) = 30 cos 4t volts, R1= 6 ohms, self-inductance of the primary coil (L1)
= 2 Henry. Secondary circuit: self-inductance of the secondary coil (L2) = 6 Henry,
capacitor(C) = 0.0625 Farad. Take the mutual inductance (M) between the coils to be 3
Henry.
(a) Draw a neat and labelled diagram of the transformer circuit pertaining to the above
details.
(b) Find primary current (i1), secondary current(i2) and voltage drop across capacitor
load(Vc(t) )
(c) Suppose instead of input voltage v (t) = 30 cos 4t volts, an ideal DC voltage source
of 36 Volts is applied what would be value of primary current (i1) for the same circuit.
