No of labours = 4

Median - -

So firstly we need to arrange the salaries in order

= 9000, 9000, 9000, 9000, 23000

N = number of employees = 5

5 is odd number

Median = (N +1 /2)th term

= (5 +1 /2)

= 6/2

= 3rd term

Median is 9000 rs per month
