Consider a spherical surface of radius 4m centered at the origin. Point charges +q and -2q are fixed at points A(2m,0,0) and B (8m,0,0) respectively. Show that every point on the spherical surface is at zero potential.

Let P (x,y,z) be any point on the sphere. From the propperty of the sphere,
x² + y² + z² = (4²) = 16..........(1)

Further,
PA = √(x-2)²+y²+z²...........(2)
and,
PB = √(x-8)²+y²+z²...........(3)
