Consider a uniform electric field E=3×10³i N/C.
(a)what is the flux of the field through the square of 10cm on a side whosr plane is patallel to the yz plane?
(b) what is the flux through the same square if the the normal to its plane makes a 60° angle with the x-axis?

Answer:

flux=E.dscostheta

= 3×10^3×10^-2cos0

= 3×10^1

now flux at angle 60

3×10^3×10×10^-2cos60

3/2×10^-1

1.5×10^-1

or0.15
