Answer:

a) common difference = 11 - 2 = 9

b) an = a + (n -1 ) d

101 = 2 + ( n - 1 ) 9

101 - 2 = 9n - 9

99 = 9n - 9

99 + 9 = 9n

108 = 9n

108/9 =n

1 2 = n

Answer:

a) the common difference is 11-2=9.

b) Tn=a +(n-1) (9)

101= 2+(n-1) (9)

101= 2+(9n+9)

110-2 =9n

108/9=n

n=12

therefore 101 is a term of this sequence.
