Consider the circuit in the diagram

Calculate i) Total resistance of circuit

ii) Potential different across 10ohms and 6ohm

iii) Current flowing through 3ohm and 6ohm

please answer the above question ​

Answer: i)12 ohms

Explanation: i)As we can see in the figure the 3 ohm resistor and 6 ohm are in parallel so by relation eff resistance 1/R(3 6)=1/3 + 1/6

1/R(3 6)= 1/2-------> R(3 6)= 2.

10 ohms resistor and R(3 6) are in series so eff resistance is 2+10= 12 ohms.
