a) the given figure is a cuboid

TSA = 2(lh + bh + lb)

= 2[(70 x 60) + (50 x 60) + (50 x 70)

= 2( 4200 + 3000 + 3500)

= 2(10700)

= 21400 m²

b) the given figure is a cube

TSA = 6a²

= 6 x (60)²

= 6 x 3600

= 21600 m²

as 21400 < 21600,
