In this question , we have to arrange the fractions in descending order.

Descending  means highest value to lowest value.

∴ we have to arrange the fractions from big to small value.

Here are the given  fractions :-7/12, 6/11, 5/9, 7/13. see all denominators are different.

  • For this reason we have to make all denominator same,
  • only then can decide which number is big or small.
  • Let us find out the LCM of 12, 11, 9, and 13.

LCM of  12, 11, 9, and 13. will be = 5148.

\frac{7}{12} = ( 429 ×7) / 5148 = \frac{3003}{5148}

\frac{6}{11} =( 6 ×468)/ 5148 = \frac{2802}{5148}

\frac{5}{9} =  =( 5 × 572) / 5148 = \frac{ 2860}{5148}

\frac{7}{13} =  ( 7 ×396)/ 5148 = \frac{2772}{5148}

Now all denominators are equal, we can arrange all fractions in descending order.

Hence the fractions are arranged in descending order7/12,  5/9,6/11, 7/13.

Ans :- The fractions are arranged in descending order7/12,  5/9,6/11, 7/13.
