On reactant side, On product side,

C=6 C=1

O=2 O=3

H=6 H=2

So, to balance this equation.we have to make the Reactant=Product

,So. 2C6H6 + 15 O2 ---------> 12CO2 + 6H2O

The ratio of b:c is 5:4.

  • Benzene reacts with oxygen gas to form carbon dioxide gas along with water.
  • Hence the balanced reaction is as follows-
  • 2C_6H_6+15O_2\rightarrow 12CO_2+6H_2O.
  • In this reaction, two moles of Benzene react with 15 moles of oxygen gas to form 12 moles of carbon dioxide gas along with six moles of water.
  • The value of b is 15 and the value of c is 12.
  • Hence the value of b:c is 15:12 or 5:4.
