According to me the complete question is :

From the following set of quantum numbers , which of the following sets of quantum numbers are not Possible :

        n      l          ml        ms

 I)     3      0          0         +1/2
  II)   2      2         1          -1/2
  III)  4      3         -2          1/2
  iv)  1      0          -1          +1/2
  v)   3      4          3          -1/2

Explanation :

option iv and v are wrong set  of quantum numbers .

i) when principal quantum number n=3, azimuthal qunatum number holds the value of 0 to n-1
l=0 to n-1
All options i and iii are correct.

Option ii is wrong because :
when n=2 then l value will be n-1 and cannot be 2.

option iv is wrong because
n=1 l=0 when l is zero ml =magnetic quantum number is zero.

option v is wrong because :
n=3 and l value cannot be greater than n
