Given:

Four fractions -> 3/5, 5/7, 5/8 and 9/14

To Find:

Descending order of these fractions.

Calculations:

- To compare these values, we have two very simple methods- either by converting them to decimals or by making their denominator same.

- Let us adopt the first method, i.e., by converting into decimals.

- So we have:

3/5 = 0.60

5/7 = 0.714

5/8 = 0.625

9/14 = 0.642

- Descending order =  0.714 > 0.642 > 0.625 > 0.60

⇒ So the descending order is given as : 5/7 > 9/14 > 5/8 > 3/5
