4x+3y=30. ....(ii)

Multiplying (i) by 2, we get

4x -2y=0. ....(iii)

Now,

Subtra ting (iii) from (ii),

4x+3y=20

5y=20

y=20/5=4

Putiing y =4 in (i),

2x-y=0

2x = 4

x=2

Therefore, the common point is (2,4)
