Given Quadratic equation is x² + x + 1 = 0.

Let's find its roots ,

Here we can see that the discriminant -4ac ,

= (1)² - 4× 1×1 .

= 1 - 4 = -3 .

Hence Discriminant is less than 0 , which means roots are complex . Lets apply quadratic formula ,

x = -b ±b²-4ac/2a .

=> x = -1 ± √ (-3) / 2 × 1.

=> x = -1 ± √ (-1) × 3 / 2 .

=> x = -1 ± √-1 × √3 / 2 .

=> x = -1 ± 3i / 2.

=> x = -1+3i/2 , 1-3i/2.
