equation of line ___

5x - 2y - 10 =0

2y = 5x-10

y = 5/2 x -10/2

on comparing this equation to the y= mx +c

slope m = 5/2

y intercept = -5

as

5x-2y = 10

5x/10 -2y/10 = 1

x/2 + y/(-5) = 1

so X intercept = 2
