Answer:

A) Acceleration occurs when there is a net force on an object; no acceleration occurs when the net force (the sum of all the forces) is zero. In other words, acceleration occurs when there is a net force, but no acceleration occurs when the forces are balanced.

B) When an object moves in a circle at a constant speed its velocity (which is a vector) is constantly changing. Its velocity is changing not because the magnitude of the velocity is changing but because its direction is. This constantly changing velocity means that the object is accelerating (centripetal acceleration).

C) when when an object moves in a straight path then the displacement and distance are equal

Answer:

Explanation:

We can't say anything about it.

If an object is moving with constant velocity then it must have zero acceleration but here its about constant speed so we can't say anything.

Let me clear it with examples :

A body is having a linear motion at a constant speed, then it will definitely have zero Acceleration.

If a body is going under any curved path(lets say circular path) with constant Speed, it still have some acceleration which we call as centripetal acceleration. So it will have some finite value of acceleration.

So just by given information we can't say what will be the acceleration of the body.
