Good evening everyone,
I am Shyam, the pradhan of your village and I am here to tell all of you about an incident that will show you the importance of justice and impartiality.
Three days ago, I solved a dispute that will always be close to my heart. It was a dispute between Sharma Ji and my nephew Vikram. Sharma Ji alleged that Vikram stole apples from his tree every day which influenced his profit. After seeing all the proofs and listening to what all the people had to say I realised that Vikram was misusing his place as my nephew. Everyone in the village thought I would give the decision in Vikram's favour but I did not, I went and decided what the truth was.
Everyone was shocked but people congratulated me later and said that my decision restored their faith in justice and impartiality. I am really glad I could do that.
The wrong should be punished and the right should have the faith in the justice providing system. This is why, it is extremely important to be fair, just and impartial while solving any dispute or giving any verdict.
I wish all of you the best for the future!
