Correct Question :

  • Q.Consider an equilateral triangle having sides 1 Centimeter, 2centimetre, 3centimeter. Answer the sequence of area .

To Find :

  • Sequence of area of the equilateral triangle .

Formula used :

Area \: of \: equilateral \: triangle =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}{a}^{2}

Solution :

Case I,

When side of triangle, a = 1 cm

Area \:  =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {(1)}^{2}  =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {cm}^{2}

Case II,

When side of triangle, a = 2 cm

Area \:  =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {(2)}^{2}  =  \sqrt{3} \:   {cm}^{2}

Case III,

When side of triangle, a = 3 cm

Area \:  =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {(3)}^{2}  =  \frac{9 \sqrt{3} }{4}  \:  {cm}^{2}

Therefore, the sequence of area of equilateral triangle are √3/4,√3 and 9√3/4 cm² respectively.
