Answer:

V1 = 1140 L

P1 = 750 units

P2 = P1 + 10 = 760 units

V2 = ????????

By Boyle's law,

P1V1 = P2V2

or, 750 × 1140 = 760V2

or, V2 = 750×1140÷760 L = 1125 L

Decrease in volume

= 1140 - 1125 = 15 L

Its volume will decrease by 15 litres.

next step =

x = 1125

it is asked to find difference of volumes =

1140 - 1125 = 15

= volume will decrease by 15 litres
