Answer: Cell wall is mostly made up of cellulose. Cell wall provides structure to the plant cell . And also cell wall protects the cell from being destroyed. In sclerenchyma cells , the cell wall is made up of cellulose as well as ligmin . So the cell wall tends to be strong .
