Draw the figure.

Let MNMN be the perpendicular from vertex MM to the side KLKL.

In right angled triangle KMN,KMN, you know the measures of one angle and one side.

Using a suitable trigonometric ratio find out the length of side KM.KM.

In △KLM,△KLM, you now know the measures of two sides and the included angle.

Use the cosine rule to get the measure of the third side.

Solution: In triangle KLM, m = 5cm height (MP) to m = 4.5 cm and size MKL angle is 70 degrees.

KM = 4.5 cosec 70 = 4.788799976 cm

KP = 4.5 cot 70 = 1.637866054 cm

PL = m - KP = 5 - 1.637866054 = 3.362133946 cm

ML = [PL^2 + MP^2]^0.5 = [3.362133946 ^2 + 4.5^2]^0.5 = 5.617289798 cm. Answer.
