110° = 90° + 20°

1. Draw a line segment PQ. With centre O, draw an arc of any length using your compass and label it as AB.

2. Keeping your compass wide open with the same length, draw an arc S on AB. Hence you will get 60° angle arc joining point S and O i.e. Angle SOB.

3. Bisect the 60° angle and name the point of intersection as J. Then join J to O which will become 30° arc i.e. Angle JOB.

4. Join the arc J to A, which will give Angle JAB which is equal to 20°.

5. Now draw a perpendicular line AD on line segment PQ from point A. Hence getting a right angle BAD.

6. Angle JAB = 20°

Angle BAD = 90°

So, angle JAD = 110°
