Solution :-

To construct an angle of 90°

• Draw a line segment AF

• Place the point of the compass as A and draw an arc that cuts the arm at B

• Place the point of the compass as B and draw an arc of radius AB that cuts the arc drawn an in step 2 at C

• With the point of the compass at C , draw an arc of radius AB to cut the arc drawn in step 2 at D

• With the point of the compass at C . Draw an arc of radius AB near E as shown

• With the point of the compass at D . Draw an arc of radius AB near E as shown.

• Join E and A . The angle FAE = 90°

Steps to construct 120° Angle :-

• Draw a line segment AC

• Place the point of the compass at A and make an arc such that it cuts the line segment AC at B

• Place the point of the compass at B and make an arc of 60° at E

• Place the point of the compass at B and make an arc of 120° at D

• Now, Join A and D. The angle CAD = 120° .
