step 1 : Draw a line BC = 6 cm

step 2 : At point B , make an angle of 60° and take your compass and measure it 2 cm .

step 3 : Draw an arc of 2 cm from point B and join the arc with point C .

step 3: make a perpendicular bisector of line where arc and point C join . perpendicular can be drawn by take compass more than half of line and draw an arc on one side of traingle and on other side from point C and cut the both arc from point on arc of 2 cm .
