sol :- Given

to construct ΔABC, where BC=8cm,∠B=45

and AB-AC = 3.5 cm.

Construction steps :-

(i) Firstly draw a line segment BC = 8 cm as a base.

(ii) Now mark ∠B=45

and Extend to x.

(iii) Now take a radius of 3.5 cm and draw an arc from B.

(iv) Now join the arc to C and mark it as D .

(v) Now draw ⊥

lar

bisectors of DC and mark them as 'P' and 'Q'

(vi) Extend the ⊥

lar

bisector till 'X' and mark it as 'A' now join 'C' to 'A'.

(vii) Now, ΔABC is formed which is required.

(viii) Now , just by considering 1/2 of the radius and the angle make the axis and join them form 'B'

conclusion :-

Thus required Δ ABC with AB-AC = 3.5 cm ∠B=45

and BC = 8 cm is constructed
