draw BC = 5cm using protractor draw the angles of 40 degree and 50 degree from B and C respectively and mark point of intersection as A ABC is the required triangle . now draw a line XY passing through A parallel to BC now using this line make an angle of 90 degrees which intersect BC at D. now AD is perpendicular to BC of right triangle ABC .
