Concept

A circle is a figure made up of all points on a plane that are at the same distance from a central point. It's a two-dimensional figure with no sides or edges and is spherical in shape.

Given

Radius = 10cm

Draw

A circle with radius 10cm

Solution

1) Using a Mathematical compass and a scale, measure 10cm by placing one tip of the compass at 0cm and dragging the other tip till 10cm.

2) Mark a point 'O' on the paper. This point will be considered as the centre of the circle.

3) Keeping the compass on 'O', draw a circle.

This is the required circle of radius 10cm.
