Answer:

Ratio of the flowers remained to that of flowers in the beginning given is 3:5

Let, the number of flowers remained = 3x

So, total flowers at the beginning = 5x

Number of total flowers given with kaustubh = 60

Therefore, 5x=60

⇒x=12.

Number of flowers remained after offering in the temple = 3x=3×12=36

∴ Number of flowers offered by kaustubh in the temple= 60−36=2

Answer:

flowers remaining = 80 - 32 = 48

flowers offered = 32

Step-by-step explanation:

flowers remaining / flowers in beginning = 3/5

flowers in beginning = 80

flowers remaining = (80-y)

(80 - y) / 80 = 3/5

400 - 5y = 240

-5y = 240 - 400

-5y = -160

y = 160 / 5

y = 32
