1) Draw a line segment AB of 4.2 cm.

2) Taking B as center and BA as base draw an angle of 70 degrees and extend its ray.

3) Similarly, Taking A as center and AB as base draw an angle of 110 degrees and extend its ray.

4) Now draw an arc of 5.5 cm on both the rays from point B and A respectively.

5) Name the arc from A as D and from B as C.

6) Join D with C.

7) We have required parallelogram.
