Construct a parallelogram HEOM with HO = 6 cm, HE = 4 cm and OM = 3 cm.

Steps for construction:

Step 1. Draw HO=6cm

Step 2. With H as center and radius HE=4cm , draw an arc.

Step 3. With O as center and radius OE=3cm , draw an arc, intersecting the arc drawn in step 2 at E.

Step 4. With E as center and radius EM=6cm . Draw an arc opposite to the side HE.

Step 5. With O as center and radius OM=4cm , draw an arc, intersecting the arc drawn in step 4 at M.

Step 6. Join HE,OE,EM and OM.

Hence, HOME is the required parallelogram.
