To Find :  Construct parallelogram

Solution:

in Parallelogram opposite sides are equal

PQ = SR = 6 cm

QR = PS = 6 cm

PR = 8.2 cm

Step 1 : Draw  a line segment PQ = 6 cm

Step 2 : Taking P as center and compass width = 8.2 cm , draw an arc

Step 3 : Taking Q as center and compass width = 6 cm , draw an arc intersecting arc drawn in previous step at R

Step 4 : join QR

Step 5 : Taking P as center and compass width =6 cm , draw an arc

Step 6 : Taking R as center and compass width = 6 cm , draw an arc intersecting arc drawn in previous step at S

Step 7 : Join RS  & PS

Parallelogram PQRS is constructed
