To Find : Construct Parallelogram

Solution:

Step 1 : Draw a line segment PQ = 6 cm

Step 2 : Using compass width = 8cm and taking Q as center draw an arc.

Step 3 : Using compass width = 10 cm and taking P as center draw an arc such that it intersects arc drawn in previous step at R

Step 4: Join QR

Step 5 : Using compass width = 8cm and taking P as center draw an arc.

Step 6 : Using compass width = 6 cm and taking R as center draw an arc such that it intersects arc drawn in previous step at S

Step 7: Join PS and RS

Parallelogram PQRS is constructed.
