Answer:

Hence we have constructed a parallelogram PQRS with the given measurements

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that a parallelogram PQRS whose side PQ=6cm and it’s two diagonals are 7.5 cm and 8.5 cm

Let PR and QS be the diagonals of 7.5 cm and 8.5 cm respectively

To construct a parallelogram PQRS :

  • With the given measurements we can construct a parallelogram.
  • Draw a parallelogram PQRS and draw a diagonal from P to R and another diagonal from Q to S.
  • Now mark the ,measurements
  • Hence we have constructed a parallelogram PQRS refer figure.

Answer:

We know that, sides of rhombus are equal.

So, PQ=QR=RS=PS=6cm

⇒ Draw a line segment PQ=6cm

⇒ Take P as center with radius 8cm and draw an arc.

⇒ Take Q as center with radius 6cm and draw an arc, which meets previous arc at point R.

⇒ Take P as center with radius 6cm and draw an arc.

⇒ Take R as center with radius 6cm and draw an arc, which meets previous arc at point S.

⇒ Join QR,RS,SP,PR and QS

∴ PQRS is a required rhombus.
