its two diagonals are 6.6cm and 8cm

To Find : construct   parallelogram

measure other side​

Solution:

Step 1 : Draw a line segment AB  5.5 cm

Step 2 : Using compass width = 6.6 cm/2 = 3.3 cm and taking A as center draw an arc

Step 3 : Using compass width = 8 cm/2 = 4 cm and taking B as center draw an arc such that it intersects arc drawn in previous step at M

Step 4 :  Join AM And BM and the Extend

Step 5 : Using compass width = AM and taking M as center cut the extended AM at C

Step 6 : Using compass width = BM and taking M as center cut the extended BM at D

Step 7 : Join BC , CD and AS

Step 8 Measure BC or AD for other side = 4.85 cm
