Given : a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB = BC 5 cm CD 6 cm diagonals are 7 cm each

To Find :  Construct

Solution:

Step 1 : Draw a line segment AB  = 5 cm

Step 2 : Using compass  width = 5 cm and taking B as center draw an arc

Step 3 : Using compass  width = 7 cm and taking A as center draw an arc such that it intersect arc drawn in previous step at C

Step 4  : join BC

Step 5 : Using compass  width = 6 cm and taking C  as center draw an arc

Step 6 : Using compass  width = 7 cm and taking B as center draw an arc such that it intersect arc drawn in previous step at D

Step 7  : join CD & AD

quadrilateral ABCD is constructed in which AB = BC 5 cm CD 6 cm diagonals are 7 cm each
