Draw a line segment AB = 6cm.

⇒ With B as a center and radius BC = 4cm, draw an arc.

⇒ With A as a center and radius AC = 8cm, draw an arc intersecting the previous arc at point C.

⇒ Again take B as a center and radius BD = 7cm, draw an arc.

⇒ With C as a center and radius CD = 7cm, draw an arc intersecting the previous arc at point D.

⇒ Join AC, BC, BD, CD and AD.

Thus, ABCD is a required quadrilateral.
