AC = 5.75 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN

AB = 4.4 cm

BC = 4 cm

CD = 6.4 cm

DA = 2.8 cm

BD = 6.6 cm

AC

To find AC

We will use the hypotenuse theorem

Hypotenuse² = Base² + Height²

Here

Hypotenuse = DC = 6.4 cm

Base = DA = 2.8 cm

Height = AC = ?

We know that,

( Hypotenuse ) ² = ( Base ) ² + ( Height ) ²

( Height ) ² = ( Hypotenuse ) ² - ( Base ) ²

( Height )² = ( DC ) ² - ( DA ) ²

( Height ) ² = (6.4)² - (2.8) ²

( Height ) ² = 40.96 - 7.84

( Height ) ² = 33.12

Height = 5.75

Height = 5.75 cm

AC = 5.75 cm
