Steps of construction:

1. Draw AB=4cm

2. draw an arc of 6cm=AC from point A

3. another arc from B such as B=3cm

4. draw an arc from B such BD=5.5cm and join BC , CD and BD , AD

5. After joining all the points we get quadrilateral ABCD

Step-by-step explanation:

1. draw a line segment AB= 4cm

2. construct angel by

• making an arc with C as centre and radius 3cm,

• making another arc with A as centre and radius 6cm

interesting the previous arc at B above AC.

3. with C as centre and radius 3.5cm, draw an arc below

AC.

4. With B as centre and radius 5.5cm, draw an arc intersecting the previous arc at D.

5. join D to A and D to C.

thus, ABCD is the required quadrilateral.
