Explication of steps of construction :

 \dashrightarrow Draw AB = 5.4 cm.

 \dashrightarrow Make ∠BAX = 120° and cut off AD = 5 cm from AX.

\dashrightarrow With B as centre and and 4.8 cm radius , draw an arc BC.

\dashrightarrow With D as centre and radius 5 cm, draw another arc CD intersecting the arc of step 3 at the point C.

 \dashrightarrow Join CD and BC.

About Quadrilaterals :

• A quadrilateral is a shape having 4 sides, 4 vertices, 4 angles.

• Sum of all the angles of a quadrilateral is 360°.

• If the sides of a quadrilateral are produced in an order, the sum of the four exterior angles so formed us 360°.

• Some examples of quadrilaterals are :

  1. Parallelogram
  2. Square
  3. Rhombus
  4. Rectangle
