Question

➠ Construct a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB = 5cm, AD = 3.5, DC = 6cm and angle B = 120°

Answer

➠ Draw a line segment AB = 5cm.

➠ With A as a center and radius AC = 5cm, draw an arc.

Then

➠ With B as a center and radius BC = 6cm, draw an arc, intersecting the previous arc at point C.

➠ With A as a center and radius AD = 3.5cm, draw an arc.

Then

➠ Take C as a center with radius CD = 4cm draw an arc intersecting the previous arc at point D

➠ Join AC, BC, AD and CD.

Hence your answer

➡ Thus, ABCD is a required quadrilateral.
