Step-by-step explanation:

Given Construct a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB = 5 cm, BC = 6.5 cm, CD = 7 cm, angle B = 120° and angle C = 90

  • We need to construct a quadrilateral ABCD in which, AB = 5 cm, BC = 6.5 cm, CD = 7 cm, angle B = 120 degree and angle C = 90 degree.
  • Draw a line segment BC of length 6.5 cm
  • At the point B and C with the help of compass construct angle 120 degree and 90 degree.
  • Let the lines be CP and BQ respectively.
  • From C make an arc at a distance of  7 cm on the line CP. Mark the point as D.
  • From B, make an arc at a distance of  5 cm on the line BQ. Mark the point as A.
  • So Join A and D.
  • Now ABCD is a quadrilateral.
  • So AB is parallel to CD.
  • Angle B + angle C = 180 degree
  • The lines are parallel if the sum of interior angles on the same side of transversal is supplementary.
