Step-by-step explanation:

Steps of construction:

1) Draw a line segment AB of any measure.

2) With A as centre and 7.5 cm radius draw an arc at C.

3) Join AC and BC.

4) With B as centre and 6.5 cm radius draw an arc.

5) With A as centre and 5.5 cm radius draw another arc to cut the previous arc at D
