Given : quadrilateral ABCD in which

AB = 2.7 cm

BC = 3.5 cm

CD = 4.0 cm

AD = 6.0 cm

∠B = 90°

To Find ; Construct Quadrilateral

Solution:

Step 1 : Draw a line segment AB = 2.7 cm

Step 2 :  Draw a right angle ( 90°) at B  on  AB using setsquare / protractor

Step 3 : Using compass width = 3.5 cm and taking B as center draw an arc intersecting angle drawn at C

Step 4 :  Using compass width = 4 cm and taking C as center draw an arc

Step 5 :  Using compass width = 6 cm and taking B as center draw an arc  such that it intersect arc drawn in previous step at D

Step 6 : Join AD and CD
