  1. draw a rough sketch of the quadrilateral

obviously you have drawn two Triangles with the diagonal as a common base and the remaining vertices an opposite side of the base.

  1. now draw a line segment AC = 5 cm
  2. with a centre and radius 3 cm draw an Arc above AC
  3. with C as center and radius 4 cm draw another arc intersecting the previous are at b join AB and CB..
  4. with A as centre again draw an Arc of radius 4 cm below AC
  5. which C at centre and radius 4.5 CM draw another are intersecting the previous Arc at D.
  6. join D A and DC to get quadrilateral ABCD.
