Answer:

given:

MI=3.5cm,

IS=6.5cm,

angleM=75degree,

angleI=105degree, and

angleS=120degree

1. draw line segment MI=3.5cm

2. construct angle M=75degree,

3. construct angle I=105degree

4. when you construct angle I, measure from point I 6.5cm and mark point S

5. in point S construct angle S=120degree

6. extend the arms of angle S and angle M until they intersect; there is a point T

Given:

  • MI = 3.5 cm
  • IS = 6.5 cm
  • ∠M = 75°
  • ∠I = 105°
  • ∠S = 120°

To Find:

  • To construct a quadrilateral using the given data.

Solution:

  • First, draw a base MI of 3.5 cm using a scale.
  • Next, draw a line of angle 105° from the point I using a protractor.
  • Do the same on the other side, i,e., M just the angle is kept as  75°.
  • Now use a compass and a scale and measure the compass as 6.5 cm and keep it on point I and cut an arc, we will get a line IS with 6.5 cm.
  • Now again use a protractor and place it on point S and draw a line of angle 120° and name the line as ST.
  • In the end, we get a quadrilateral MIST.

∴ A quadrilateral MIST is constructed.
