Steps of construction:

1) draw a line RS of 5.5 cm

2) cut an arc of 6cm from S and R, it meets P join SP and PR

3) cut an arc of 10 cm from S and cut an arc of 7.5 from R, it meet on Q join SQ and QR

4) join P and Q

PQ= 4.7 cm
