Construct a quadrilateral PQRS in which PQ=5cm, RS=4cm, PS=8cm, PR=10cm and

QS=7cm.

⇒  Draw a line segment PQ=5cm.

⇒  Then with Q as center and 7cm radius draw an arc.Then with P as center and 8cm radius cut the previous arc at S.

⇒  Join P and S.

⇒  Now with S as center and 4cm radius draw an arc. Then with P as center and 10cm center cut the previous arc at R. 

⇒  Join S to R and Q to R.

PQRS is the required quadrilateral.

Measure the length of QR

⇒  We get QR=7cm

Measure of fourth side is 7cm
