⇒  Draw a line segment AB=6cm.

⇒  With B as a center and radius BC=4cm, draw an arc.

⇒  With A as a center and radius AC=8cm, draw an arc intersecting the previous arc at point C.

⇒  Again take B as a center and radius BD=7cm, draw an arc.

⇒  With C as a center and radius CD=7cm, draw an arc intersecting the previous arc at point $$D$4.

⇒  Join AC,BC,BD,CDandAD.

Thus, ABCD is a required quadrilateral.
