We know that, in rectangle the measure of each angle is 90

 and diagonals are equal.

⇒  Draw a line segment PQ=5.5cm

⇒  Draw an angle of 90

o

 at point P and Q

⇒  Take P and  Q as center with radius 6.2cm and draw an arc on opposite perpendicular. We will get points R and S

⇒  Join PR,QS and RS.

∴  PQRS is required rectangle.
