Draw a new circle with radius of 3 cm. Where the new circle intersects the old circle becomes the center of a new circle which will have a 3 cm radius. Continue this process until you have 6 equally spaced points around your original circle. Connect theses points, you will have a regular hexagon with eachside 3 cm.
